New cat tree, part 2 - kitten edition.

Rene bought his kittens their first cat tree.

At first, they all explored it and its newness.

Mittens immediately realized that she could scratch...

...and that she could sit in the top part.

Ninja tried to steal the top spot from her.

 He eventually got his turn.

Then Ninja enjoyed the hanging toy.

The three kittens love their new tree.

Patches was the last cat standing in the top part.

She's the queen.

Biscuit and the new box.

Morning cuddler kitties.

Lily's belated birthday present.

Petsmart gave Lily a free three dollar treat for her birthday.

I picked out a crunchy ball.

She has pica for plastic, so I thought she might really like it.

(crunch)

Doodles' new place.

Rene brought over a chair cushion to use as a kicking shield.

Doodles found it.

It's almost as good as a towel bed.

Lily's second trip to the vet.

Lily, we are going to the vet.  You need a booster shot.

 No!

 Help!

 I am trapped here!

I think Lily has flashbacks of being in the shelter (she was there for three months!) when I take her out in the carrier. She is usually so social and outgoing, but she panics the second she's in the carrier outside.

Whew.  Finally home.

Bookshelf Lily.
