This is Ninja's canned food spot.  He is so picky that we have to let him choose which bowl he wants first, and, to do that, we put him on the counter.  This time he got up there by himself to show us he wants canned food. :)

Doodles has a strategy.

Doodles has responded to the arrival of Biscuit with a certain strategy.  To maintain alpha status, Doodles has been literally been holding the high ground, the kitchen counters and refrigerator.  This also helps her avoid confrontation, which could also threaten her alpha status.
